Kids Yoga is designed for beginners as well as those with some previous yoga experience. During class we focus on developing cooperation and mindful awareness in a playful environment. We practice breath techniques, play yoga inspired cooperative games, learn yoga poses, practice mindful awareness and guided meditations.
This class is best suited for students at a developmental level to have the skills to follow directions & cooperate with their peers.

About the Teacher
Liz first practiced yoga in graduate school and immediately felt the benefits. Over time, witnessing the growing social emotional needs of students she worked with in schools, Liz began to look for ways to share the benefits of yoga with children. This led her to train with Yoga Calm, Mindful Schools, Kidding Around Yoga and she obtained her 200 hour RYT with Satyam Yoga School.
Liz teaches Kids Yoga, Teen Yoga, Family Yoga as well as Gentle yoga and meditation with adults.
When she is not in the yoga studio, Liz spends her time with her family camping, hiking, or making dinner together. Liz’s favorite things (besides yoga) are: reading, crafting, walking her darling dog Lucy, and traveling.
